Classes, lessons and practices
Regular 5-week session Salsa classes for all levels (beginner through advanced) are ongoing at Dancers Workshop, being taught by Kirsten and Charlie. We teach Cuban style salsa we an emphasis on learning social dancing and also dancing Casino Rueda, in a circle. Best way to sign up is by contacting Dancers Workshop.

In addition to the regular salsa classes, we also teach regular Sensual Bachata classes and practices once a week, Tuesday nights, normally at 7:30 pm. For details please see our Strictly Salsa Facebook Page. And this is also the place to look for updates on social dancing and special events.

Bachata - Sensual and Urban Style 

Stephen and Kim are teaching bachata classes/practices, usually on Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm at Dancers Workshop, but times vary. There is a $5 donation charge to DW at each session.

The classes and practices focus on getting you ready to have fun social dancing. You'll learn body movement, footwork, and fun social routines along with gaining an understanding of musicality. You don't need a partner, but you are invited to bring your friends.
And MEN....let's go. Lots of ladies are in the class and we need more MEN.

Bachata Classes - Urban/Sensual Style

Practices and classes are taught by Stephen with an Argentine/South American flare. Emphasis on a solid foundation of feeling the music (musicality) and translating that into movement between partners so you can have more fun when social dancing.  New shines and footwork help you polish up your technique. Plus Stephen teaches a fun new routine at each session to keep building your tool kit of moves and to build your confidence when social dancing.

2024 - Our next social dance is Friday night, March 22 at the Guidepost Brewery in Victor, ID.  8:30 pm to 12 midnight. See you there!

We plan to have at least one Social Dancing party each month. In April 2024 the parties will return to Center for the Arts. Contact Center for the Arts for details. This is a super fun venue with a huge dance floor, great music, beer, wine and drink specials.
